hey ladies! I hope you’re all having a great week. Big thanks to Jess for posting a pre-cursor to todays post for me last weekend while I was out of town. We still had some kinks to iron out and i’m happy to say the ironing is COMPLETE and we are SO excited about Mondays MEETUP!!

AGENDA: THIS is the exciting part:) Praise the Lord, someone is letting us borrow their OneLight DVD!! We are so blessed and we’ll be putting together a thank you for this amazing woman on Monday. (THANKS LIZ FOR ARRANGING!!) We will watch the FIRST disc which is 2 hours, starting at 4:00pm SHARP. Afterwards we’ll do a Q & A for 20-25 minutes. COME PREPARED with all your doubts/struggles/questions and keep track during the DVD as well. This is a great time for us to spill it and ask and learn from each other…our strengths and weaknesses are ALL different so I’m excited to get other’s perspectives on things we feel we need more knowledge in. Then, at 6:30p we will head across the street from my house to this GREAT overgrown field with these huge green christmas looking trees. There is AWESOME light in those trees, trust me. It’ll give us an awesome opportunity to practice what we’ve learned through the DVD…and YES we are practicing on each other:) So come dressed cute/comfy/in your own style and skin because you WILL be in front of someone’s lens! We should wrap up around 7:30pm or when the light is gone:)
TO BRING:
1. food! yes…we will all need sustenance. I will be providing drinks again, so if everyone will bring a little something that would be awesome. Don’t feel like you need to go all out! just something small and yummy:)
2. YOUR GEAR! we are shooting at this meetup!
3. questions/your thoughts about OCF (off camera flash) and low light situations. thats what we are going to be learning about so come prepared!!
WHAT I NEED YOU TO DO:
wait for my email reminder with the link to this post (will go out today around 5pm!!!). then RSVP back to my email with YAY or NAY about your presence with us Monday, as well as what you are going to bring. PLEASE PLEASE be sure to email me back whether or not you will be coming, because I have to give a list to my gate house with all of your names 36 hours ahead of time, or they will not let you in:) they are kind of nazi’s and i like it that way! so email me back ASAP!
